Goodbye, sweet Midas.\u00a0\u00a0Your will to live has been an inspiration to everyone\u00a0<\/strong>who knew you, and you taught us\u00a0so much.\u00a0 You were a faithful and loving companion to Gloria E (a generous\u00a0Buckeye HRS donor) for\u00a0much of your fourteen-year life.\u00a0 Then for the last two\u00a0years, you were a tireless\u00a0companion and best buddy to\u00a0Cyrus until\u00a0Cyrus passed unexpectedly\u00a0a few weeks ago.<\/strong><\/p>\n

You made us laugh until the very end and we miss you so much. \u00a0Keep shakin\u2019 those\u00a0long gray legs as you make your way past that Rainbow Bridge.\u00a0 Cyrus will\u00a0be there waiting for you.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Midas\u00a0is a sweet old man estimated to be eleven\u00a0to twelve\u00a0years old.\u00a0 He came into foster care as a young man and was then adopted, but sadly, his loving mom recently passed away from Alzheimer\u2019s.\u00a0 As a result, he has re-entered foster care as a Sanctuary Rabbit.<\/p>\n

Midas is extremely friendly and will accept pets from and snuggle with anyone willing to spend time with him.\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0Since he is older, he has some arthritis so his pen floor is lined with fleece to give him better traction.\u00a0 Midas\u00a0also has a serious respiratory\/sinus infection that will likely need long-term medical treatment.<\/p>\n
