Hoppy Hour – Sunday 8/9 @ Masthead Brewing Co.

🐰🍻 Join Buckeye House Rabbit Society for Hoppy Hour at Masthead Brewing Co.!

Meet some of our foster rabbits, learn more about BHRS and how you can get involved through volunteering, fostering, or adopting, and discover ways to support rabbits in need. We’ll also have bunny treats and vitamins available for purchase for your own rabbits at home.

While you’re there, be sure to try Masthead’s Forest Critters beer!

Whether you’re a longtime rabbit owner, considering adopting, or simply curious to learn more about rabbits and our rescue, we’d love to meet you. Bring your friends and family, say hello, and spend an afternoon supporting local rescue rabbits!

Summer Happening – August 21, 2026

🎶 Looking for a fun and groovy night of music that helps support the rabbits?! 🐰

We’re incredibly grateful to be the beneficiary of the 50/50 raffle at the 8th Annual 60’s Summer Happening on Friday, August 21, 2026, at the German Central Foundation in Parma.

Enjoy an evening of classic ’60s music featuring Aftermath, Experience the Sixties, The AirChiefs, The Liverpool Lads and Moxie while knowing your raffle participation helps support the rescue, care, and adoption of rabbits at Buckeye House Rabbit Society.

Thank you to the event organizers for choosing BHRS as this year’s raffle beneficiary! We truly appreciate their generosity and support of our mission.

Spring Coloring Contest

Congratulations to everyone who entered the Kids Coloring Contest! We are happy to announce we have 11 entries and talented artists of all ages. Thank you to everyone who participated to help support our love for Rabbits.

Inviting all kids and teens! For those would like to show off their artistic skills while supporting Buckeye House Rabbit Society, we are hosting a virtual rabbit ‘Think Spring’ coloring contest for ages 17 and under.
🐰All entries will receive a ticket to be entered in a drawing to win a $25 Amazon gift card. There will be two winners. 🎉
🐰All entries will be showcased on our Facebook page to show off everyone’s artistic skills.
🐰We will also select a few entries to be displayed in our Spring Harelines newsletter.
🐰This coloring contest is based on participation and creativity to show your love for rabbits.
🎨Art must be on a 8.5×11 piece of plain white paper or canvas.
🎨Colored pencils, crayons, paint, makers allowed.
🎨The picture must contain at least one rabbit and a ‘Think Spring’ theme.
🎨Parents must submit art work by taking a close up picture and please email to bhrs-amy@ohare.org. (Example in comments)
🎨Please include child’s first name and age.
Please share with your family and friends! All children are welcome and everyone gets a chance to win a prize! Please email entries to bhrs-amy@ohare.org
